Temminck's Stint
Little Stint
(පුන්චි හින්නා)
Ereunetes minuta

Although there were hundreds of them in the grass bed of a lake in Mannar, I couldn't take a decent image of one up-close. Given the small size, beak and dark legs, I believe these are Little Stint's. However, it's a difficult one to be sure.

Images 4 to 7 are from Bundala National Park. Images 8 to 10 are of a bird in breeding plumage again taken at Bundala.
